I love the potential for this app and wonder why it is not made for the ipad with a bigger screen. When working, I love having my favorite Everyday FOOD recipes at my fingertips.
Update with version 2.1.4 - they have fixed the app and its great! I have my beloved favorites back - they are once again accessible even when away from wifi.
It now works so..... I dont know what the problem is but get this app because you will not regret it.

Not sure why this app isnt working for others but Ive had it for a few years and never had a problem. As a professional chef, Martha Stewart is one of the very few self-taught sources I trust. Her techniques and recipes are solid so this is a food app you can trust.

Some bad moments
The app freezes when you use the recipe shuffle. Please fix it!
Im very dissatisfied with this app. As other reviewers have stated it continually crashes. I havent actually been able to open it since it was updated. Loading recipes - which takes much too long - results in the app crashing. Too bad, Im sure theres some great content if only I could access it.
I cant open this APP. It loads and the crashes. Very disappointing!!!!
I deleted this app from my fone because of the fact that it DID NOT WORK and have checked back periodically to see if it was updated in order to reinstall a version that actually WORKED. I cant believe how bad this has been managed by MSLO. Pathetic!!!!
I thought you were a perfectionist. Apparently not! Because if you were you wouldnt have released this app as clearly it is NOT ready. I have plenty of recipe apps that work great...what cant your team figure out? And its been quite a long time since you claim to be "fixing the problem"...too bad.
It would be a good app, but it doesnt work. Ever. I have set my app on wi-fi, waited for a long time for it to load all the recipes and update (sometimes taking 10 mins of my time to do this), then it will simply crash. I am very disappointed to have bothered with this app. You should be ashamed of yourselves for having let this problem continue for so long with no resolution.
